APAPA

Elder Dempster liner Apapa arriving at Las Palmas on 27 July 1966. Completed by Vickers Armstrong in 1948 she was sold to Shun Cheong Steam Navigation Company of Hong Kong in 1968 and renamed Taipooshan. She was employed on the company's liner service from Hong Kong via Singapore to Penang. Painted all white with Shun Cheong's colourful funnel she looked very smart until the 28 February 1975 when she arrived at Kaohsiung to be broken up.
