Then brand new Marindus-type cargo ship MARINDUS SOREL as shown while laid-up at Sorel-Tracy in April 1978. Built as part of an order of 6 ships for Michail Karageorgis, she and her consorts were refused by the company and taken over by the Québec Government (Société générale de Financement) who put them on the market. Shortly after, the ships were bought by Duch interests.
