Built in 1984 by Polnocna, Gdansk, Poland (b98/04), 2,008 g.t. and 425 dwt., as the Russian owned firefighting vessel :-
'VIKHR-4' to 1998,
'Echo Fighter' to 2000,
'Eco Fighter' to 2002 and
'Esperanza' since.
Miramar reports she was converted into a private 'yacht' in 2001 and deleted in 2003 as a yacht.
I suspect she was converted whilst named 'Eco Fighter' for Greenpeace purposes.
