On September 1st, 1968, the Spanish cargo ship CABO SANTA MARIA, built in 1957 by Empresa Nacional Bazan and owned at the time of her loss by Ybarra & Co., on voyage from Genoa to Buenos Aires with general cargo, was wrecked at Baia de Salina, Boa Vista Island.
