Sergio De Phocee 16/01/2019 : Ocean liner "Gouverneur General Cambon", was buit in La Seyne sur Mer for French government in 1922. French government stay owner of the ship but the management is run by "Compagnie de Navigation Mixte" (CNM) call also "Cie Touache", till 1942. On April 27th 1930, the ocean liner ran aground without damages near Port-Vendres. On december 24th 1942, SS "Gouverneur General Cambon" is raised in Marseilles, by Italia who used her as SS "Urbino". On September 1943, German proceed to a refit as hospital ship SS "Erlangen" but on June 15th 1944, damaged by an air strike, she was towed to Genoa for repair. Hospital ship "Erlangen" was finally sunk in Genoa on september 13th 1944, by an air raid.
