Common Brother's "Woodburn" on buoys at Calcutta on Hellenic Line charter. Went on charter in Chittagong and, depite it just being a voyage charter to E. coast USA she was repainted. Two painting gangs came down, one started paintingHellenic, the other Lines. The gang painting Hellenic soon realised they didn't have enough room to fit it all in so both painting gangs knocked off for the day leaving us proudly proclaiming to be HELL LINE. For a non-airconditioned ship in mid-summer in Chittagong it was a fair description. |
