Anchored in Las Palmas harbour for bunkers. Laden with the Spanish owned floating dock ''Kugira'', believed to be the largest caisson-producing, floating dock in the world. Floating concrete caissons are produced 'inside' in about 8 to 10 days and floated out to form breakwaters or indeed entire harbours/ports. En route to Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Built in 1984 by /22835/32101 Samsung, Koje, South Korea (1022), 22,835 g.t. and 32,101 dwt., as :- "Dyvi Teal" to 1988, "Teal H.L." to 1989, "Sea Teal" to 1996 and "Teal" since. Regards, Rick |
