DAVID BAKRADZE

This product tanker is a vessel of a series of standard tankers, type "Broz Tito", built in shipyards in Split, Rijeka and Uljanik, Yugoslavia for the Soviet merchant navy and delivered to various shipping companies in the Black Sea and in the Far East (Nakhodka), all about 24 units.
This vessel was built under the name "DAVID BAKRADZE" by Brodogradiliste "Split", Split under the hull No. 329 for the Georgian Shipping Company (Gruziskoe Morskoe Parohodastvo) of Batumi, Soviet Republic of Georgia. The keel was laid on 16.01.1984, the launching was on 04.08.1984 and the delivery to her owners was on 10.06.1985 (IMO / Lloyd's Register No: 8207044, official No: M-51598, call sign: UIPS).
