Not a warship you see many photos of, possibly because she was overshadowed by BISMARCK.
PRINZ EUGEN was built at Kiel in 1940 and following the BISMARCK episode went on to survive the War being handed over to the US who used her as a target ship for A- bomb tests at Bikini where she was eventually scuttled in November 1947.
