Portuguese survey/hydrographic ship NRP ALMIRANTE LACERDA (AL/A525), imo 6112879/ 57,87m/ 876dt/ 17kn/ 2 boilers/ 2.400hp/ twin screw/ complement 44men; 02/04/1942 completed by North Vancouver Shiprepair Ltd, Vancouver BC, Canada, as Bangor class minesweeper HMS CARAQUET (J38) for Royal Navy and transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy upon completion as HMCS CARAQUET (J38); 26/09/1945 decommissioned; 1946 ALMIRANTE LACERDA (AL/A525), Portuguese Navy; 1946 converted into a survey/hydrographic ship by Alfeite Navy Shipyard, Lisbon, and placed operating in the waters of the Portuguese East Africa, Mozambique; 06/1975 she was transferred to the Republic of Mozambique Navy; 1975 breaking up. Sister ship NRP COMANDANTE ALMEIDA DE CARVALHO.
