On voyage from Tacoma to UK with 3000 tons of wheat, wrecked on Killygerran Head near Portscatho, Cornwall at 3.30 a.m. on 13/02/1915. An apprentice named Macdonald was washed overboard about 5 a.m. The remainder of crew were brought ashore by breeches buoy manned by the Coastguard and aided by Territorials encamped nearby.
