Iron Cumberland

BHP vessel Iron Cumberland inbound for Bluff with tug Hauroko preparing to assist. Built by Hellenic Shipyards at Skaramanga for the parent Niarchos Group in 1973 as World Achilles she was purchased the following year by BHP. Sold in 1986 she was renamed Cumberlande and on 12 June 1987 she sank Ne of Pitcairn Island. Her crew was rescued by Act %.
