Passengers from the Clipper Odyssey, visible in the background, ashore at Astronomers Point, Pickersgill Harbour, Dusky Sound, New Zealand. It was here that Captain Cook spent six weeks during his second voyage of exploration aboard Resolution, arriving in Dusky Sound on 26 March 1773. The stumps of the trees Cook's men cut down may still be seen.
