This vessel was originally built as a German minesweeper named Hornum by J G Tecklenborg but not completed until 1919. In 1922 she was purchased by the Liverpool and North Wales Steamship Company and renamed St Elian. She was sold in 1927 to Naples and re named Ischia. 186ft x 24ft x 10.7ft, 505 grt with two triple expansion engines and coal fired boilers.
