The MAERSK FUKUOKA makes heavy weather of it as she clears the entrance to Wellington harbour. Bound for Nelson, the weather conditions in Cook Strait were SW 40 - 50 knots with a very rough sea and heavy swell. The weather disrupted ferry sailings with some sailings canceled earlier in the day.The joys of winter.
